On December 31, look no further than Andrejsala's 'Pulkvedis' (Carpenter Shop), where an international electronica New Year fest will take place, featuring the famous French producer, deejay and rising trance star Mr Sam and some of the best domestic deejays: Andrey Emelyanov, Uppfade, Dep, Vovs, GOLdbERG, Peet Karlyne & Valer.
Two halls will offer two dance-floors: the bigger room blasting more energetic electronica – brought by Latvian deejays of various styles and by the French guest, famous Mr Sam specialising in trance – while the smaller hall will be building a chill-out atmosphere out of tracks from the 1980s and 90s and some r'n'b as well.
At midnight, expect luxurious fireworks. A great variety of activities and shows will herald in 2008. For example, in a lottery you'll be able to win one or maybe even several trips to interesting countries by air.
Ticket sale to the Grand New Year’s Night event has already begun at the outlets of Biļešu serviss and Reklamarket. Tickets are also available at Statoil fuel stations.
